Fetac results 2012.

Hi all, does anybody know when we should be receiving our FETAC course results in the post? I remember being told some time around June or July but it was pretty vague.

http://www.fetac.ie/fetac/documents/Key_Dates_FETAC_2012.pdf according to that pdf the certificates will be posted on the 15th of July.

Results Approval Panels should have met in the first week of June and confirmed the results with FETAC. Then they can issue the results to students, so you should be getting your results in the coming week.

The FETAC certificates will be issued by FETAC to the centres for distribution to the students either by post or in a graduation style ceremony.

Also, how do you collect your results? Do they get posted or do you have to go to the college or will they be available online?

i wont be available on the day when the results will be posted to my house so is there a way that you could do to know your results like through email?

My son received his Fetac results today too. He's very happy with them and just a day after receiving an offer of his first choice too! He can't wait for September! Good luck to everyone waiting on their results.

I don't understand does anyone know?? that link said the results would be released on the 15th of July but now the above comments are saying they received their results today strange. Is their a specific date of results or is every college different???.

The results are now issued directly by the centres - they print them off from the FETAC system. All results are available to centres for printing now. The certificates are the nice documents you get from FETAC, they are issued to your centres and they either post them out or hold a graduation ceremony and hand them out. Best of luck guys,

I recieved my fetac results yesterday from the college. They were not an original certificate just a printed out copy.

I was College of Commerce, but they both come under the City of Cork VEC so i would assume St Johns will be fairly soon.

I'm attending WCFE and still haven't gotten my results! Still waiting and very impatiently I might add! I've already been offered my place for next year too! So if you're attending WCFE and haven't received an offer as of yet, it should come soon

You don't apply for FETAC/PLC through the CAO, I think you might be looking for another section of the forum :P Although, the CAO results normally come out the first Monday (I think?) after you receive your results! Best of luck!

no I meant, I already did my fetac course, and was wondering if I get my offers for further study earlier than the when the leaving cert students get their offers.

Offers for FETAC applicants who are applying for reserved places in Universities (not Institutes of Technology) are made by the CAO prior to the Leaving Cert students offers. Checkout the CAO handbook for exact dates etc

Your results are automatically forwarded to the CAO if you have applied for a CAO course.
