You really need to contact your college. I am surprised you haven't got your results by now. In terms of graduation, each college will have their own graduation.

I have been to 4 different colleges, we were supposed to complete the course in Colaiste dullaigh, but our boss thought it too far , so we were scattered. We did the last 4 modules in Colaiste ide .

What happens when a module folder goes missing and the college can't find it.?

Is the college accepting that it was submitted and that they now can't find it, or are they simply saying that they don't have it? Did you sign it in?

It's my friends ,ond of the care modules, we all got out results for eight modules and she only got seven, college say they have no idea where it, so we emailed tutor who said she would look into it, we are due to graduate in September and we don't know wheter una will be joining us?yes it was signed in. All our folders went in together.

If your friend is absolutely confident that there is a document with her signature on it showing that she handed it in (the fact that you all handed them in together is not sufficient) then she should first deal with the Tutor, then contact the Principal if there is no solution or response from the Tutor within maybe a week.

At that stage I think you would be looking at submitting an appeal to Fetac.

If she did not sign her work in she should still contact the school (and Fetac if there is no response) as Quality Control demands that there should be documentation showing signed in work. She will probably not get any further with it in this case though.

It was definitely signed in , two weeks have gone and no word, the tutor we had was very scatty and it does not suprise me work has been lost. The principal of the college is gone on holiday, we did this through skillvec, does she contact them too.

Appeals to FETAC can be made up to sometime in September - I am not sure of the exact date, the office at the college should be able to tell you, though it should say in the letter you got with your results how to appeal. You should be ok to give the Principal a bit longer to come back from holiday, but I think the appeal would be the way to go.

Do establish what the final appeal date is, and keep chasing it with the school/Fetac till you get a result.

Thank you , I will pass your information on to her tomorrow in work, just one more thing should she resubmit her work or not?

I can't answer that, but its good that she has it. You will have to consult with the college and FETAC to get an answer to that. Do point out to the college that she has it.
