    Hi folks

Just from anyone's personal experience, have you found that your approval from the local authority/VEC for the student contribution cover charge was accepted before course commencement? Also if it wasn't what happened when the deadline to pay the college passed?

I am just wondering as the University I wish to go to (DCU) state to have the student contribution charge by the registration date (either approved via the Local Authority/VEC or your own cash) or face a fine.

Just getting a rough estimate if many people's student charge gets accepted and covered before they start the course, just worried about all the backlogs etc

Note: Applying next year 2013, not this year.

This is actually not a question that anyone here can answer because all new applications are centrally processed now by Dublin VEC from June 2012 onwards.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
