It appears the police stopped a car for driving strangely and Maynard fled the scene, then a man matching his appearance was found on the tube tracks. The driver of the tube tried to stop but couldn't.

I think perhaps he might have passed out onto the tracks, either way it's horrible news. He was only on Cricket AM this weekend I'm told

Apparently police think that he stepped on an electric wire and was electrocuted before the tram struck him. Found in Wimbledon Tube Station. Very tragic at only 23, apparently had a smashing future ahead of him
