Dell Vostro windows 7 really slow???

My Dell windows 7 is really slow in the past week... I have uploaded around 2000 pictures but there is very little on this laptop as it is new. .I dont know what wrong.. anyone help?

run some spyware software on it , and run the dell diags on the hard drive .
