Censorship of the media and the term "offensive" should be illegal ....

The fact that some religious, conservative gimp alliance of parents or aul wans can dictate to the government what I can and can't watch at a certain hour because they find it offensive or derogatory ... is simply unfair.

Not so much a problem these days, but immigration. Especially the ones coming from, say Africa, not having a notion of working and only contributing to society by popping out children and raising them on Irish tax payers money.:mad::mad:

Making them run beside a bike while on a lead
Making them run beside a car while on a lead - check it out on Dollymount causeway
Cutting off bits of their bodies eg, tails and claws, because you think they look better without them

Making horses pull weights like heavy carts containing several people - day in day out
Putting a metal bar permanently in their mouths

    Fishing with hooks

    I could go on.......

    ...dont know do you then?

Despite not being 'actual people', corporations are recognised by the law to have rights and responsibilities like people. Corporations can exercise human rights, are conceptually immortal but they can 'die' when they are dissolved and can even be convicted of criminal offenses.

"Corporate personhood" is a legal based bit of jargon that says a corporation may sue and be sued in court in the same way as person can.

Follow ups for you; "The Corporation" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379225/) and "Inside Job" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1645089/)

    Glad I could educate :)

I'm pretty sure that just means they have some of the same legal rights as individuals.

You can't murder or marry a corporation can you? They don't have voting rights, they can't claim the dole.

While the legal mumbo-jumbo may make them seem similar to people they're not technically people.

    Soz. LOL. etc.

Political correctness and the pseudo-liberal (but in reality, stupidity-reinforcing) attitudes to people's choices, which are like, all society's fault, like.

Yeah the tax on smokes is too high.
Weather you agree with smoking or not, there is about 4 euro in the difference from buying a pack of 20 over here and in spain... its too much.

Try Mayfair though - €8 even, in comparison to what is it €9.20 for Silk Cut etc. They have blue, light blue, menthol AND in not one but TWO sizes! TWO!

A fair bit sadder to see some poor kid (or adult) or some other misfortunate animal mauled half to death by letting their precious "he-won't-touch-you-he's-harmless" Buster run riot around the streets and parks...
