Murcia, Spain....cheap car hire/things to do?

    Hi , we would appreciate it if anyone could tell us the best place/website to book car hire for collection in Murcia in August.
    We will be staying out in Nijra and will need a car to go to the beach...has anyone been here.... anything you would recommend us visiting? Just the hubbie and me , we have no kids, in our thirties, cheers

    I think the last time I got a car from there I used this site:http://www.economycarrentals.co.uk/SearchCars.aspx

    The collection point was just outside the arrivals hall. Car was just a year old, had no issues.

    The area is fairly quiet

    Try travelsupermarket or carjet.co.uk

    I have used both of these in the last year at Murcia and no problems.

    There is a wonderful Spa just outside Murcia - http://www.balneariodearchena.com/

    It is really worth a visit. Lorca is a lovely town off the AP7 in the direction of Almeria that is worth a visit. They have a lovely castle that does night visits in the summer.
