Street racing and street drifting is so common in Japan that the police in Tokyo actually give tips to the general public on how to react when they see vehicles approaching from behind at speed(don't brake suddenly, don't change lanes etc):eek:

Fifth gear did a test of what happens when you put the wrong type of fuel in the car. petrol in a diesel car and vice versa.

Turns out in these old bangers it was fine. Probably not recommended for new flash cars.

I doubt you'd find anything in English about it online. I have a friend who moved to Tokyo a couple of years ago and he is involved in the tuning scene there and he told me about it.
