Value of a house in Kildare for house insurance..!?

    Hi Folks,

    Just wondering if anyone can give me a guide as to the value I should put on a house in terms of House Insurance quotes. I have a 4 Bed semi in Celbridge. Its a little bigger than the average but not much. Sq feet etc...no clue:confused:
    I want to get decent quotes for house insurance and I haven't a clue how one values a property like this. I guess its the cost of a re-build in the event of the place burning down etc, god forbid!!
    Is there a kind of ball park figure, surely give or take 10-15k is sufficient?

    Don't forget to include site clearance. There could be a significant amount of work involved in clearing debris from a site before rebuilding could start.
