Any views on Ribble Evo Pro Carbon please?

I'm thinking of swapping out the frame on my badly fitting Alu frame bike for a better fit. The Ribble Evo Pro Carbon seems good value and in Large nearly matches the geometry of another bike that fits me well.

Has anyone any experience of these frames to share please?

Not exactly the frame you are looking at, but for what it is worth I got the Ribble Stealth frame set. Very happy with it and looks and rides great. The finer details on decals etc (not many on the Stealth) might not be of the highest quality, but I am not complaining at these prices.

Thanks. I took the plunge anyway. Now I'm convincing myself that I'll forget all the tiagra stuff on my old bike and buy SRAM rival for it. Fingers crossed my wife doesn't notice all the new boxes arriving.

Be very interested to hear how you get on, considering doing this myself. I notice the forks are a separate mandatory extra. Did they come fitted or was this something you had to do yourself? I gather fitting forks requires extra equipment, i.e. headset press.

my son has ribble eve pro for past 2 seasons together with ribbles own superleggra 50mm deep section carbon wheels.As far as im concerned its the best value out there.Never any problems with either frame,fork,or wheels

The fork for the Stealth did not come assembled. It was supplied complete with headset and fitted without any special tools. No problems.

I emailed ribble and they said that as I or ordered the headset from them that they fit the crown race to the fork ( the hardest job) and press in the headset bearings( easy job). For my wife's bike I made years ago they packed the frame with tape holding the headset in. I'll let you know when I get it all.
As an aside, since wiggle got bought by a hedge fund, I've found that they and chain reaction aren't very competitive anymore. All the SRAM rival parts I bought are ordered from Ribble

Found this myself on a number of recent purchases, Wiggle and CRC in particular weren't even close on price. Got some wheels from Ribble at a good price which I'm very happy with and would have no problem using Ribble again.
