    anyone know where to get lambda / oxygen sensor for vw transporter 2.5td 2008 for cheap?

    retails at 170 euro :mad:

    what is it with volkswagens and sensors anyway ? they are overpriced and built to fail :mad:

    any help plz...

    Lambda sensors are only designed to operate within spec for approx 160,000kms/100,000miles with correct use.

    Some VW service books actually have this as a service item.

    All lambda / oxygen sensors perform the same function . Volkswagen of course are not happy to use a 20 euro sensor when they can use a 170 euro sensor :mad:

    i have noticed recently that my nearest vw parts depot is always jammed with people buying replacement parts but when i visit the ford parts depot there is nobody there....

    i have no connection to any car company btw.
