Not exactly last words, but there was a gunfighter from Texas named Robert Clay Allison, whose gravestone reads:

"Never killed a man that did not need killing."

I think that's pretty bad ass!

    I liked this comment better:
Ok, this is nowhere near any of this, but reminded me of a dude from several years back. He saw the priest approaching with the sacred oil (it's a Catholic thing) on his deathbed, and dude threw the oil at the priest yelling "i'm not a f*****g salad".

"Shoot, you coward. You are only going to kill a man."

Don't have much time for Che or his acolytes but as defiant last words go, that's good.

    The greatest ever one word?

    "Nuts!"
General Anthony Clement "Nuts" McAuliffe (July 2, 1898 – August 11, 1975) was the United States Army general who commanded the 101st Airborne Division troops defending Bastogne, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. He is famous for his single-word reply to a German surrender ultimatum: "Nuts!"

I think the Lawrence Oates one is pretty baddass.

"I'm just going outside and may be some time."

Oates was a member of Robert Falcon Scott's expedition to the South Pole. Crippled with frostbite, he walked out of their tent into a blizzard, sacrificng his own life to give his team a better chance of suviving without him.
