Planning a trip to new york in september and would like to get in a game. Does anyone know where I could purchase tickets? I was told about a website called Stubhub but I dont think they ship outside the US. Do Ticketmaster or any agents sell them? I was looking at the Jets and the Bills game

Go to their official forum and ask them, some will probably set you up personally or point you in the right direction.

Stubhub don't ship to the US but some of them have the option to allow you to print the tickets close to the week of the game.

For instance, I am going to the Panthers@Jets preseason game in August.
Got two tickets from Stubhub with the option to print them out for $4.95 I think.
So when I get to my hotel in NYC I will print them out from there. Stubhub give you a date of when you can expect them to be availble - usually a week or two before the game.

I got Bears tickets on NFL Ticket Exchange for $169.00 and my Philly Tickets on ( US) Ticketmaster for $86.00 each.
Price depends on game and if its a sellout ( Bears game was).
Got ticket confirmation from both, so i'm happy to go with that.

New York is a big market so there is more demand. If the game was in Buffalo you would probably have a better chance of cheaper tickets.

Its not as bad as I make out the craic is grand but the city itself is an old school industry city and its truly awful looking in parts. Any of the bars around the University of Buffalo are for the most part good times.

my dates have changed so im trying to get a giants game in. so I contacted the giants directly and the agent I spoke to took my details and said he would be in contact mid-late august. I was just looking on the ticket exchange and the giants dont have any tickets yet but when i went onto stubhub people have them for sale, is this legit?

Individual game tickets aren't for sale yet, what I'm guessing you're seeing on stubhub is people offering their season tickets for certain games that they know they can't attend (or just don't want to).

Stubhub generally have a pickup/drop off location very close to the game, so if you buy from them on the day, you just drop in and pick them up. Generally on stubhub, you can buy tickets right up until about 60 minutes before game time.
As someone said some of the tickets are print outs and they get delivered straight to you.

I have used ticketcity before, and the tickets delivered to my hotel, again two days before the event.

I once picked up us open mens final tickets through craigslist, the guy just dropped them around to the hotel and I met him there! Easy....

Seriously, you will have no problems. If you are there 3 days beforehand you will be fine, even on the day of the game, its not a problem. New yorkers are very used to selling tickets on at the last minute....

Have used the Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange about 2 years ago and would recommend using it. Tickets are printed before you leave so you have no queuing to pick them up or any detours to do it.
