Does anyone remember The Alvin Purple Lovegod Experience?

    They used to play in Grace McCarthys on a Sunday night.

    Lived in Ennis in those years so yeah remember them well. They were class.

    Over a decade since I last saw them

    They did our Rag Week in Galway
    And they did our grad in Tipp

    Excellent

    I don't remember Lovegod in the band name though

    They were brilliant, appearred in an Irish film called guilttrip too.

    You would have come on come on ringing in your head all night after watching them. They used finish up with that Gary Glitter song.

    You know I don't either, I asked someone about the 'Alvin Purple Experience' recently and I was corrected and told they were they were ' The Alvin Purple Love God Experience', so there :-)

    Alvin purple love experience. They used call their gigs "love gatherings"as far as I can recall.
