playschool prices approx

    hi girls,
    just wondering on average how much per hr is it for a playschool for a 2yr old? im looking for say 2hrs for 2days per week?

    I know from the crèche I work in that its 200 euros for 2 full days per week.

    Wow :0 Thats mad money!!! My 3 year old DD goes to crèche/playschool and it's €15 per morning (3 hours).

    eh crazy money more like, no wonder parents cant afford to go oout and work, i got a quote for 3hrs -13.80 so gonna roll with that,

    but its a full day from 8 to 6 so 2 days are 200 euros

    For my eldest son, I used to pay €150 per week for five full days plus hot meals. Thats going back nearly 3 years so it's slightly cheaper now.

    I'm sorry but €200 for TWO days is absolutely mental. You'd want to be earning a damn good wage to justify paying out that. (In my opinion).

    i think in comparison with other places where its around 1000 a month its quite cheaper as its 600 euros in this creche.

    If its €200 for two full days, how can it be €600 for the month?

    sorry its 800, I was multiplying 200 by 3 weeks but its 4 weeks in a month, but its still a big difference between 800 and prices in other places that start from 1000 to 1900 a month

    Yeah, there's a big difference alright. I suppose it's all about location too.

    Last year, I was paying €300 (approx.) per month to my daughter's Pre-school. Five mornings a week at €15 per morning (3 hours).

    I could be wrong but I thought that Pre-schools didn't take children until they were 2 years and 10 months as they are normally toilet trained by then. You should also look into availing of the free pre-school place for the year under the ECCE scheme.

    thanks for the replies guys got sorted, 13.90 for 3hrs i will be sending her 2mornings per week and doing her toddler group, she is fully toilet trained thankfully :) and nxt yr i hope to avail of that ECCE scheme providing the government doesnt back out of it :rolleyes:
