Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The problem isn't good vs bad Christians. There are good and bad people in the world who'd act that way regardless of their religiosity.

    The problem is that religion gives ignorant people a platform to preach hatred and the mindless drones, like that retard in the video, follow them because they think that the preacher is privy to some special information and is a respected and valued member of the community (for some reason). It doesn't help that the hatred can be backed up by a perceived unerring, complete and unchangeable ancient book.

    Anybody who gets their morals from somewhere else as opposed to using their own reason and conscience should never be allowed that platform. In any other area of expertise you need to be innovative and forward thinking to have people want to listen to what you have to say. Unfortunately, to gain that platform via religion you don't need any original ideas, you just need to tow the party line.
