Should be interesting, although I have to say I'm a bit dismayed to see Declan Ganely for the no side instead of someone like richard Boyd Barrett, but we'll see how they do...
    EDIT: Participants:
[YES] Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore, Leader of the Labour Party, Minister for Foreign Affairs
[NO] Mary Lou McDonald, TD for Dublin Central; Vice President of SF
[NO] Declan Ganley, Business person, Chair of Libertas
[YES] Norah Casey, Owner and CEO of Harmonica, Dragon RTÉ Television - Dragons' Den

Gilmore is wrong. The French are seeking a renegotiation. The French Finance Minister said it.

Gilmore's in particular. questioning the intelligence of people who don't vote with you is not a way to win anyone's hearts and minds

International trade won't be effected by a no vote despite what the ICMSA man says. We will still be in the EU.

Can someone please tell me what is Nora Casey doing on this political debate. its a joke that she's on the show.

I can't stand that woman. She loves bragging about her wealth and nothing else!

    Plank strikes again

There won't be enough money to bail out everyone, that's true, but that only applies if everyone needs a bail out.

Agree with Nora Casey, it's about cheap money. Mary Lous quip about failed policy was silly, in this economy how can anyone know what's coming down the tracks in a few years time.

The ICMSA man I think made a good point, better to have a cheap line of credit and not need it than need it and not have it.

It's NOT about the CAP. PK was very insulting though and a poor moderator of the debate both with the panel and audience.

One worrying point that I didn't realise was Gilmore saying we were gone above our IMF limit.

Balance for Ganley as Michael O'Leary was not available I guess. She is poor. No one in business signs a contract before all pages have been cross checked Nora.

Pat is showing his bias for the Yes side. He just can't help it.

Very poor debate, seems like they haven't done their research properly. Pat telling the farmer to get a life was very unprofessional.

nora casey is like a bulldog.......a very rude one

the plank was delighted with the farmers outburst, a bit of excitement in a generally boring show

The tone of this debate reminds me of that before the Nice I treaty on Q+A. Given the large DK element in the audience this augers well for a no vote.

Gilmore reminds me of one of those pigs in Animal Farm.
He was Che Guevara a couple of years back.
Now he's fat on power loved being called Tanaiste.
    Tanaiste! :D
