itunes library problem

    Hi

    I am having a problem with itunes on laptop.

    Installed tunes and it wouldnt run as i have Windows 7 and needed to install an older version which I did.

    Computer now telling me that I "itunes library .itl" was created by a newer version even though I completely uninstalled the "newer" version.

    HEELP!!

    If it was created with a newer version, it doesn't matter if you uninstalled it, only the new version will read the library file.

    So how do I delete the library file?
