Yeah I will watch it. The other countries always send out their hottest women so there will be a bit of eye candy to look at. Some of the songs do be good as well.
I won't be watching our "entry" though, those two just make me want to throw the TV through the window.

Yeah its a pity we couldn't send in a proper entry, theres plenty of decent song writers and artists in this country. If we start taking it seriously again we could once more have a chance of being victorious.

Shouldnt they change it to Eurasiavision?

Just reading the wiki page on Azerbaijan there, first democratic and secular republic in the Muslim world. Interesting looking place in general.

I will just to hear Marty Whelan's pathetic petty comments about other countries voting structures when its clear our joke entry isn't going to win.

    :D

Totally, he is right b*tchy diva. Someone give him a Snickers. ;)

We wouldn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning with a serious entry, in loads of countries in Europe Jedward are LOVED! Last year they went to number one in loads of countries. I think they are in with a great chance of winning!

I don't know I'm bit suspicious of this supposed love for them in Europe, sure maybe the kids dig them but the men surely see what we see, a pair of **** in lycra.

But then again men don't vote so these nancy boys could stand a chance of doing well.

Ya see, you just made your own argument as to how Jedward will win... (I'm so proud;);) )

That's exactly the point, it's the kids who vote, the kids who text and the kids who download! We don't have it in the bag, but I reckon we're in with a good shout!

    L'Irlande zéro marque

I'm avoiding it like the plague.

I really don't feel like watching two closet homo's with ADHD yelling about lipstick while on half a kilo of coke.

I haven't watched the Eurovision since 1995. Voting cliques and an increased volume of shyte entrants have made it virtually unwatchable.

Was that the year of Katrina and the Waves?

Haven't a clue, because thankfully Eurovision memories are just a blur for me now.

    Not a hope.

No. That be 1997. Both Portugal and Norway got zero ......... Katrina And The Waves got 10 maximums and both England and Ireland exchanged 12 points.

Stay off the Pimms No. 1 'til at least the halfway stage
    Not a hope.

    Oh you of little faith

only if they change the rules to "eliminate" the losers, and the winner.

No I would rather have my eyes grouged out with a rusty spoon.

Its for people who are tone deaf, ffs jeward is in it.

No, because I think it's crap - that's just an opinion, not snobbery. I don't appreciate it on an ironic level either.
Loved it when I was a kid though, the voting especially.

Have to admit I'm with al quaideh in wanting to bomb the shìt out of this they echoed my sentiments about jedward completely because i'd suggest they are the one thing that instilled these urges. If Ireland ever gets bombed, blame a load of quasi-yanks indulging in a democracy gone mad

/was fine with jedward til they forgot to **** off the first time around. add "same entry twice in a row" to laughing stock cannon
