A new airline will start offering a Dublin to London Southend flight in September.

They will offer a same route, same fare, same date policy.

Wonder how they will get on, or if they could later expand to other Irish airports?

DUB-SEN would be a bit odd, DUB-RTM would surely make more sense as a first route?

I'll be slightly surprised if this airline ever gets in the air, though.

Where did you get Dublin-Southend from? The airline is to based in Rotterdam and one of their launch destinations will be Dublin.

I can't them lasting long though. The one fare policy seems a bit odd, if there's people willing to pay a higher price, why charge a lower one? And I don't think there's much of a market for a short-haul full service carrier in Dublin.

According to their facebook page, they'll be using Jetstream 32s and Fokker 50s, serving all destinations at least twice daily.

F50 and Jetstreams would explain the food-in-a-bag, don't think there's a particularly great galley or storage available on either of those.

Sorry I just presumed they would be flying to London from Dublin.

I seen this screenprint and in the bottom right of the screen and it says Manchester and lists all the arrival times from different destinations so i thought as Dublin and London Southend we're being used there could be flights between the two.
