Advice on narrowing a window ope... please

Hi, Looking for some advice on the above subject. I have an existing window which is approximately 1100mm wide. I need to reduce the width to approximetly 800mm and I'm looking for the best possible way to go about doing it. New window is being ordered this week! All advice welsome.....thanks..... Harry

Harry - What type of wall is it-solid stone/block and cavity/mass concrete/cavity block ?
