Adblock not stopping youtube ads in Firefox

This just started happening this morning (FF 12). Has anyone else had this problem today?

Adblock plus? There's an option in filter preferences to allow some non-intrusive advertising, is it ticked? It's something they introduced some time ago

Use adblock plus instead of adblock.

you could also try using ghostery aswell. It blocks some of the stuff that I find adblock misses

It's adblock plus I'm using. That option for the non-intrusive ads was on, but even after switching it off I get a google ad on Youtube.

Does anyone else see one at the start of this video, for example?

Ad is there for me on Firefox with adblock plus, but not there on Chrome

No ad came up for me on Chrome, uninstalled Firefox the other week as I find it too slow.

No ad embedded either on Chrome (note, I'm running both adblock and adblock plus on Chrome)

I moved to Chrome about 2 years ago after sticking with Firefox for years. I held out and it wasn't until adblock was properly available that I moved. It's now the better browser IMO. If you're bothered about Google tracking you get SR Iron, it doesn't bother me.

No ad on Firefox 12 with Fanboys list (updated on the 16th)-->disabled on Boards.ie.:)

I was getting the ad the other day with Firefox 12 & ABP/Fanboys list. Just updated fanboys list there & ad is gone :cool:
