Hi, I am knew to boards but hopefully this is in the right place!!! I have an interview coming up in just over 3weeks. Has anyone ever done this and could tell me about it??? I know there is an Irish oral too which I am completely afraid of but that's life! Any information at all would be brilliant as I am going back to education from a 6 year hiatus!! Cheers in advance!.

Hey, are you going for the B.ED? I went for interview last year for BA so might be different but they mainly asked about work and what I had done since school, asked about the course and why I wanted to do it. Make sure you know about how the course is structured with subjects etc to show you have researched thoroughly. They also asked about finances and how I would be supporting myself just to make sure you are committed and won't have to drop out! They asked about hobbies and things like that also that I'd put down on the application form. Just to advise, don't be worried!! The interviewers were extremely nice and the interview was more like an informal chat than an interrogation.
