Ok, I am planning on going to Social Welfare to inquire about this but just wondered could anyone shed some light here first:D
I have been on JSA for the last six months and I am wondering is there any sort of funding/ allowances available to go towards doing a college course, but it is only a short course. I am a qualified tutor but in order to register with the teaching council(which I need to do before I get a job!!) I need to do a short course(2 weekends over 2months) but its €700 that I have not got!! So I was wondering would I be entitled to any help with fees?? Sorry about the long winded story! :D
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Speak with the Job Facilitator in your local office to see if they can help.

Also talk to your local Development/Partnership company or LES, they may be aware of some local funding streams in your area.
