Pretty much yeah. I don't really have a problem with it at all tbh, nice to see legends such as Rush, Tompson and Kenny Dalglish, if so be it, still involved with the club at some level.

But just to reiterate, I would not like to see Dalglish in a DOF role if he is fired as our manager.

Theres gonna be a few whoppers in the squad ( i dont mean the big man, i mean some sh1t like no Walker and/or Richards or something like that). Watch now as we go full circle in the press.

Dec '10 ---- Roy's results meant he had to go.

July '11 ---- A good manager, he went to LFC at the wrong time.

Nov '11 ---- Liverpool never gave him enough time and

April '12 --- Roy for England? ahahahahahahaha

April '12 ---- A good manager but clearly not one for future.

July '12 ---- Absolute disgrace, i mean who the f**k brings on Hibbert when we need a goal.

(a very rough guide but the jist is there ^^^)

No surprise there are so many leaks of the squad tonight to keep the media on side with Uncle Roy

If he goes there and scores a few goals it could do him the world of good. there's a flip side to that though

He's not played loads of minutes in the season just gone so I'd say he'll be fine

Don't worry, Roy's in charge so there'll only be 3 games!;)

Doubt he'll have a lot of game time, could see him coming on for the last 20 minutes if a game isint going well and switch to plan b, would say hell come home grand.

    Daniel agger however...

Rooney is suspended for the first 2 games so I think he'll start those games

I'd fancy him to get a goal or two if he starts the opening games tbh. Hope he does, could do the world for his confidence for next season.

I remember us getting a boost off Milan Baros in late 2004 after he done well in the Euros then all downhill after that

I think it's the best case scenario to be honest.

~First of all, it keeps his confidence boost going.
~He'll get a bit of game time, but not too much.
~It keeps him fit and reduces chances of a summer on the beers (unlikely anyway I know, but still..)
~Most importantly, it means he won't be in the Olympic squad. Had he gone to that, he'd have likely started every game, greater chance of a knock closer to the start of the season, and he'd still feel like an England reject after it.

Instead Hodgson is looking elsewhere as he tries to compensate for the absence of Wayne Rooney through suspension from the first two games, against France and Sweden. There is not a particularly strong list of alternatives when the talented but raw Danny Welbeck is considered a near‑mandatory pick and the fact there is no place for Crouch supports the theory that Andy Carroll may be in the reckoning, ironically on the back of the problems he caused Terry as a second-half substitute in the FA Cup final, followed by the 4-1 defeat of Chelsea.

Carroll played so badly for the majority of the season that Liverpool's then director of football, Damien Comolli, was trying to move him out in January but by early evening the former Newcastle United striker, on his way to a Westlife concert, had not been among the list of thanks-but-no-thanks calls Hodgson was making.

Bloody hell...Hope Kenny's not with him.

Edit: He supposedly took Spearing! Nice to see Liverpool implement a big brother policy

would have to say that it is also the cause of his rise in form at the end of the season. playing it up for a chance to play for england.

    At least now it will keep him fit and trim and off the dreaded 3 B's that wrecked havoc on my and many a career;

Its brilliant if he makes the England squad-I dont understand how people would think otherwise. Playing at that level against top level opposition will be brilliant and all adds up to a 'more experienced' footballer.
Its what he needs, game time, confidence, trust. He had a very good last few games for us and I hope he brings that into next season - we might soon see the best of him....maybe.....probably....I hope.
