Best of luck to them. They had an advert on Donedeal a couple of weeks ago, hopefully people use the place. There was a similar operation in Dublin but it closed down.

Looks promising. They appear to be offering the self service facility as a small part of the general business activity. This will make it a much more viable business than the one in Dublin that really had to get alot of DIY customers to survive.

Sweet, best of luck to them.
    Rates All prices inc VAT
    1st and 2nd hour €20.00 per hour
3 or more hours €15.00 per hour
special 1/2 hour (quick oil change) €10.00
That's good prices, I'd def go there for oil changes rather than crawling around on the driveway.

Is there anywhere like this more north of the country?

Would be handy to use it and have all the tools ya need there as well...

Love to see something like this in Cork, although I'd nearly travel to Waterford for a big job.

It's a pity some of the normal garages or independents don't open their bays up over the weekend to the public to work on their cars. The lifts are just sitting their idle, could be making them a few quid. I suppose insurance would put a quick end to it :(

Plus there'd be cars on the ramp's in the middle of open heart surgery. You can't just push them outside because it's Friday.
Also, they would probably be doing themselves out if some business.

That'd be a bit like caterers letting folks prepare grub for parties etc in their commercial premises while they themselves are at home after a days work :)

Opening hours are 9-5:30 weekdays and 9-3 saturdays, closed sundays. Maybe its just me, but most people who work on their own cars do it in the evening... or at least finish up when its getting dark.
They should charge a tenner flat rate plus a fiver an hour for the use of an inspection pit. Then higher fees for use of tools, trolleys, diagnostic equipment etc.
