This has been the most frustrating evening I've ever had on FIFA.

Playing Work it out.....

Semi final - I randomly lost my progress and had to start again.
Semi final - Lost to a decent player, but my team couldn't put two passes together
Semi final - The game hangs on the loading screen, I wait for 30 mins, and go back to the dashboard allowing my opponent to get into the final and me to go back to the first round, literally 2 seconds before the tw@t sends the message "Look, I'm going to win anyway, just quit".
Final - i come up against a guy with 74 rated silvers, that feel like 99s in every position. I concede a penalty, go the right way and save it, but the ball bounces up off Given onto the crossbar and in. In the game Djibril Cisse has the touch of a baby elephant and the turning arc of a lorry.

The tournament ends up expiring, and I start the "Best Around" tournament.
Game one, Yaya Toure & Gerrard both get 4 game injuries and I can't afford the healing cards for either.
Game two, win in extra time.
Game three, win in extra time against a dickhead with Walker, Luiz, Richards & Glen Johnson as a pace abuse back 4, while he has Bent, UP Suarez, Hernandez to add to the pace abuse....end up beating him 3-1.
The final, dominate the game from start to finish, more shots, more possession, lose to two corners while Tevez & Torres manage to miss absolute sitters.

Update on the pack only team:

Opened a few packs with the 20K IF money.

Added some more quality, still not as good as I want it to be though

Do you find 4321 identical to 433 or are the wingers pushed in noticeably???

4-3-2-1 is more narrow, it's more for cutting in and shooting. The front 3 tend to swap positions during the game also i.e. the ST goes out wide and one of the wingers play down the middle.

In 4-3-3 the wingers stay out wide as it's more of a crossing formation

Made a fairly strongish EPL team with 3-4-1-2. Won two tournaments and all, but it didn't click at all. I was exploited a hell of a lot with 3 at the back and seemed to have to work a hell of a lot to get goals on the attack. The right and left mid don't seem to be of any use in the formation. Far too deep! Never again!!!

Selling the team now and going to make a team with a better formation.

Going to do a video breakdown of them this weekend, but would like to tweak team to maximise chem (without going a 50-50 split). Thinking Nasri at CF might help a couple of players out.

Great fun to use though! Seem to be involved in absolute goal fests. The silver Polish fella on the bench has a great long shot. He was there originally to link up with RB, but Kagawa does the same job. Any other recommendations? Want to keep it as an interesting hybrid.

On another note, does anyone have any QPR players I could BORROW until tomorrow. Will not play with them so no risk on injury, suspensions or decreasing contracts.

Pretty much yeah. Chiellini in the squad I posted only needs 4 links to get 9 chem. Whereas your Lescott needs 5 links (2 links to the 2 CM's, 1 link to RB, 1 link to other CB, and 1 link to GK).

If I remember correctly:

Same league = 1 link
Same club = additional 1.5 link
Same nation = additional 1.5 link

Total = 4 links (1 + 1.5 + 1.5)

So from that same league, club and nation link Lescott recevies from Joe Hart, he gets a total of 4 links. And because he needs 5, he is 1 link short and only gets 7 chem

Picked up my 1st IF last night.

Got Turan for 18k.... I couldn't get a price check on FUT(says 1k

) but the only other option for a LW La Liga would be Villa(LW and Striker were all I was waiting on) so I think he'll work out nicely.... 99 finishing

Use http://ultimatedb.nl/ instead, their prices are more accurate. It says there it's 18.7k for IF Turan on PS3
