There is no PS3 in my house :(
Mines broke and I never got around to replacing it.
I haven't missed much over the last year to make me want to run out and buy another one either!

I'm just waiting on my mother to come home to see what the story is as she allegedly needs a car because apparently she wants to go somewhere. I think it's all bs as mothers don't have social lives!

That requires the japanese gamecube but sure! I'll also bring Animal crossing and naruto for it.

    I can supply the Cubes.

Just need the controllers. I'm sure Ciderman has Double Dash... not sure if I have mine handy...

I do, I also have a US Ntsc 'cube and a Pal one....
    Plus, Pacman Vs!
Might rig the 'cube up to the projector, although it's a bit bright til late now, looks best after dark....

Won't be the same without the Boulder Dash dominated conversational stylings of Sparks!

A grand old eve was had. Cheers to Ciderdude for hosting, and the kind Mr.Halen for the transport :) Shame on Retr0 for inflicting the CDI upon us.

I'm just going to go out there and say Superman 64 isn't too bad. Sure the graphics are appalling, the on-foot combat shockingly poor, features the lamest portrayal of Lex Luthor ever (why would a wildly intelligent super villain make Superman fly though a load of rings and call it a 'maze'?) and the whole thing wildly inconsistent. But the flying is actually sort of fun in a clunky, tank-like sort of way, and the ahem seamless level streaming is impressive for a game of its age. Compared to Zelda CDI, it's a shining light of well below averageness!

You missed out on this real gem we found on the CDI:

And of course we can't forget the best ever Mario game:

Man, that thing stank, but not as much as THAT Superman 64, and it's clever use of the wonderful catalogue of nefarious enemies, Mala anyone?

Also, as I type this there appears to be a bird trapped in the gamesroom, and I'm not talking about Sera held against her will, little sod, crapping on my stuff, I'm gonna get you!

Thanks for another great evening ciderman!

It seems hating Superman 64 was too mainstream for some people but not hating zelda CDi. I still think you guys didn't give it enough time.

I kind of want to play Burn:Cycle now just for the bizarre tchnobabble written in the awful max payne style.

I think I'd rather watch a Youtube playthrough of Burn Cycle, it's be a lot less frustrating and have only marginally less gameplay!

Plus, I'm really not digging on the early 90's vision of the 21st century, where we all listen to, oddly, 90's dance music in the night clubs on a short loop and really bad jazz in the lobby of the same club, again on a short loop.

Oh, and street punks dress like punks who got the wrong wardrobe delivered and put them on in the dark, plus folk are pretty 2 dimensional, not that they are un-interesting, though they are, but literally 2 Dimensional!

You forgot to mention being followed everywhere by a guy playing air guitar.

It was great to have you all over last night, we'll do it on the southside next time, some long trips there for many out to mine, it's only fair that I will have to travel to the next one, later in the summer.

Damn... a girl on reddit just finished Superman 64

    http://imgur.com/a/aLhpv#0

I want to see that end screen!

Apparently there's a game breaking glitch when you have to fight Brainiac that's only on certain cartridges though.
