PWBoards top 100 wrestlers

There are so many guys I wish I could have put on my list that I hope make the top 100, such as Arn Anderson, X Pac, Jerry Lynn, Jun Akiyama, Vader, Owen Hart. Then there are the really guilty pleasures like Zack Ryder, Kamala and, ahem, Koko B Ware and Disco Inferno

Pretty much gone with wrestlers who are my favorites since I started watching wrestling as opposed to who would be seen as the top twenty wrestlers.

1)AJ Styles: He has pretty much carried TNA since day one and it is a shame to see how he has to take a back seat to ex WWE stars currently. First time I seen him was back in 2004 and since then I can hardly remember him having a bad match. The highlight for me is the 2005 Ultimate X Challenge.

2)Samoa Joe: As with AJ Styles it kills me to see how he is used today, an absolute monster when he debuted in TNA and before that for ROH. Highlight: ROH series with CM Punk.

3)HHH: Yes he gets sh*t all over for having 43 world title reigns and being married to the bosses daughter but from April 1998 until he became a part timer he was unbelievable, particularly the year Austin and Rock were out and he was the focus of the company: Highlight: Royal Rumble 2000 vs Foley.

4)Bret Hart: Amazing wrestler, nothing else to say really. Highlight: WM 13 vs Stone Cold Steve Austin.

5)The Rock: Thought he looked a little stale during his recent promos with John Cena but got by due to it being so long since the crowd had last seen him. Always preferred him as a heel, especially his Survivor Series 98-Backlash 99 run. Highlight: Royal Rumble 99 vs Mankind.

6)Kurt Angle

7)Jeff Hardy

8)Macho Man

9)Mr Perfect

10)C.M. Punk

11)Chris Benoit

12)Bryan Danielson

13)Shawn Micheals

14)Million Dollar Man

15)John Cena

16)Undertaker

17)Jake 'The Snake' Roberts

18)Chris Jericho

19)Beer Money (If no tag teams then Roode)

20)Ultimate Warrior.

That's a pretty silly decision.

Pretty much nobody would list Jannetty by himself, but the Rockers might make it.

Same with Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, by themselves they were meh, but as the NAO they were very good.

It's top 100 wrestlers. To me, that implies singles wrestlers. If they didnt do enough to warrent a place on their own, they dont belong in the list imo.

I have no problem changing my vote to Ken Anderson as No.20 and everyone else moves up 1 place

It's interesting to note that someone I expected to be very high in each persons list, the undertaker, isn't that high. I know I gave him a very low number, but the others just came before him.
Will be really interesting to see where he comes with the final tally.

Sounds very doable. But i would count anything except full matches tbh.

My list is based purely on wrestlers I have enjoyed watching and who entertained me through out the years, so their will be a very random few on it, like Stone Cold won't be on it as I have never enjoyed watching him, so be prepared .

1 - Cody Rhodes, followed his career from the moment he was called in to defend his daddy against Randy Orton and saw massive potential in him from them, thankfully he hasn't disappointed, the only wrestler I would sit up and pay attention to as soon as they came on the screen.

2 - Jeff Hardy, for a long time would have been number 1 (Till Cody came along) but annoyed me a lot with the switching to Tna and back and various other things, but as a kid was my favourite .

3 - Brock Lesnar, was just a beast such an entertaining man in his first run with Paul Heyman by his side, he actually scared me such was his beastness.

4 - Dusty Rhodes, the first wrestler (and mainly only) wrestler I have went back to watch his matches and read up his feuds, a lot of men can put Dusty down as their best feud which I think is such the credit to the man. Absoloutly amazing promos as well. Just a natural entertainer.

5 - JBL (As JBL was never much a fan of Bradshaw and Farooq really)

10 - Shelton Benjamin
11 - Batista
12 - Scott Hall
13 - Randy Orton
