Sky Remote not connecting with Sky Box

Hi Son took batteries out of the Sky+ Remote while I away for evening and when I returned and re-installed the - I cannot get the Sky Box to react to the remote control. I have Red Lights flashing on the remote as I press the buttons - but nothing happens to the channels. So - in effect - I can't move between channels. Any…

Hi

Son took batteries out of the Sky+ Remote while I away for evening and when I returned and re-installed the - I cannot get the Sky Box to react to the remote control.

Unplug the Sky box at the mains and then reconnect, if that fails try new batteries in the remote.

I know it might sound silly but did you press the sky button on the remote, it may have been on tv.

you have to re pair the remote with your tv.

To enter the desired code on your Sky Remote:-
Press TV
Press Select and the Red button until it blinks twice
Press TV again
Enter 4 digit code
Press power button.
