Widening my Driveway: Permission needed?

    Hi,

    I need to widen my driveway from 7' to around 10' to safely park my bigger car.

    Do I need Planning Permission to do this do you know and if I just go ahead and do it without it, what could happen?

    Sorry I should have been clearer, yes it's the entrance aswell as the driveway itself.

    So I guess I need permission for it then...

    Send your local planner/ engineer a picture of the existing and a clear ( brief) explanation of what is proposed and then ring them for a chat. They'll advise you
