Would this kind of discussion not be best suited to a Sunday Morning?

Yes, and in a church. These people just can't keep their personal beliefs to themselves.

I think it's great that the jackbooted facist way that the Catholic church is being run behind the scenes is being exposed for one and all to see, the more media coverage the better. Maybe some of the older diehard biddies who slavishly obey the church's rulings and believe the dogma will have their eyes opened.

Where do these people actually live ? Craggy Island. RTE should be ashamed of themselves for giving this airtime. Like some said earlier the RCC Talaban school discrimination issue would be far more important than this meaningless nonsense.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,509 ✭✭✭surferdudz

what about that priest with the porn presentation?? discussing that Joe?

  • Registered Users Posts: 218 ✭✭SilverLiningOK

Our RCC caller nearly choked on his tea when Joe mentioned homosexuality.

Is father Iggy the official spokesman for the catholic church in Ireland? On any radio station if there's a church debate he's there.

Liam is dead right, tow the line or get out. This bull**** of the happy clappy priest is what is keeping the church going. Sooner it's shown to be a conservative, right wing, evil cabal the better.

What's wrong with a happy clappy church?

"Mass is boring and miserable, and thats the way I like it"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,090 ✭✭✭RadioRetro

Lahvlahn standard caller filter at work here... only those defending the 'traditional' church get through to lambast the 'happy clappy' priest.

These people are really under the influence of a fairies-at-the-bottom-of-the-garden cult. Crazy stuff ! Much therapy is required here before some real harm is done.
