American Tailoring/Balayage in Dublin

I'm thinking of trying balayage and have heard good reviews of the Style club. I also saw that they offered american tailoring(two process balayage) does anyone know what this is? how is different to normal balayage?

I have only been to Style Club for a hair cut. Twice by different senior stylists, hoping that the 2nd one would be different. And my experience was not good AT ALL! They did not listen to me. Both of them did/cut exactly what I told them I did not want. And I had pictures with me (both times) while I used during explaining them how I want my hair.

Maybe the colourists are different but just letting you know...
