    Hi all,

I am looking to build a new desktop computer and i am wondering what are the possible options as far as websites are concerned.

Are there any Irish(or even UK ones that ship to Ireland) websites that let you build your own configuration and have competitive prices ?

    Thanks for any feedback.

    Hi Konkon

As expected there can be a wide variety of pricing between different sites but the 2 cheapest I usually buy from are:

    http://www.hardwareversand.de
    http://www.amazon.co.uk

Hardwareversand don't accept credit cards so you need to do a bank transfer. It's slower than other options.
Amazon are usually very quick to deliver and offer an excellent return policy if anything goes wrong

Good sites from the UK that ship here are as follows:

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk
    http://www.scan.co.uk
    http://www.dabs.ie

And locally Elara are excellent with the added benefit of being able to pick up your purchase directly from their depot in Dublin if you wish to.
