No they haven't. If Agger and Skrtel had been 1st choice cb pairing this season then they would have been first choice at the start of the season.

that is the most rediculous thing you have posted

I presume jon flanagan was 1st choice rb this season then going by your reasoning

Yes, Carra was 1st choice right at the start, but since his injury he's clearly been a bench choice, except in the derby for whatever reason.

A choice which with us winning 3 out of 3 games against Everton this season for the first time ever, should surely be accepted as an astute tactical decision by our manager?

A quick read of his blog & tweets confirm my original assumption was correct.

How come he always gets the team right so much earlier then? He clearly has info most of us are not parley to and as such there is nothing unreasonable with his suggestion that Coates could be leaving.

Considering he played a part (major part in my opinion, although some will blame Agger) in the goal we conceded it was hardly an astute tactical decision.

Listen we get it, we should all be positive. And by sheer will power, we will be a force again.

You remind me of one of those youngsters who follows a political party with blind faith, yet you don't even fully understand the party manifesto.

Its a desire to belong or something.

Being positive about all things Liverpool FC doesn't make a bull notions of a difference to what happens on the pitch. No matter how hard some fans try to believe they are of any significance to the teams performance (by way of being positive, singing louder at games, putting a positive spin on things, not airing dirty laundry in public etc....) they are deluding themselves.

Never understood why someone would complain about fans "pissing and moaning". Its a message board my friend. If you want everyone to come to the general consensus that things are great then join a cult FFS.

I'm not doubting he may some sort of a contact at Anfield (although it should be pointed out, he didn't have any knowledge about the Comolli sacking as someone said earlier), however there is a big difference between having team info a few minutes early & knowing if the manager is considering loaning out a player.

Other than team sheets he tweets a lot of guff tbh, 'FSG are definitely interested in Cryuff & may or may not try get him', 'FSG also definitely have Van Gaal on their radar & may make an approach'....wow...insightful stuff.

If Kenny was considering loaning Coates out, you reckon it'd be common knowledge around the club? I seriously doubt it would be, hardly good man management should he decide not to loan the player out.

This lad seems like a wannabe journo & seems to enjoy being a minor twitter celeb.

Nothing wrong with criticism, it should just show the correct level of respect to the people it's levelled at. I've criticised Kenny & others at the club about an abundance of things myself this season.

However others in here cross a line regularly.

Of course not. That is a ridiculous oversimplification of the game of football. Patrice Evra has had a defensively shocking performance in practically every game he has played this season, yet United have won many of these. Is it a tactically astute decision to play him? No.

Carra made 1 mistake in his 3 games against Everton this season?

I thoroughly dislike Carra, but talk of him being fit only for the championship are wildly premature.

many would argue that saying calls he is not fit to start in the premiership are long over due too....

what he is lacking in ability now he is making up for in merit...

    and its a liability...

dont get me wrong, i love him and think he is valuable. but i dont like when his name is in the startin XI

From what i remember of the game, Carra and Skrtel were fairly solid at CB, Agger was wasted at LB going forward but despite the glaring mistake the back four was fairly solid.

I remember saying after the game that because of the way Everton was setup that back four worked, but against a better side would be exposed badly.

So did Kenny get it right on the day, yes would be the answer, would we have gotten by with Enrique at LB and Agger in the centre, i would say yes also, but who knows i guess. It wasnt exactly a tactical coup though lets be honest. The way Everton played either scenarios would likely to have the same result.

I think Carragher would get into at least 10 EPL sides as a starter. I doubt he'd get into any top 6/7 side though being honest. He has featured much too often for us this season, and thats saying a lot.

Carragher should not be in the first team squad, period.

When he plays, he drags the back four onto the 18 yard line and leaves huge gaps between midfield and defence.

When he's in possession all he does is hoof the ball as far away as he can. You wouldn't mind it so much if he gets it close to one of our players.

When he plays alongside either Skrtel or Agger he makses them look basic as they have to cover his mistakes as well as do their own jobs.

He's doing far more bad than good to the squad at the moment and even when he's on the bench he's taking up the place of someone who can actually do some good for the team if required. There have been too many players who we all know that can offer something on the pitch that haven't been given a fair crack, but Carragher can waltz back into the team at the drop of a hat.

He's been a great servant for the club. I'll never ever doubt his commitment to the cause, but its time for him to step aside and let it go.

If he is still there in the first team squad next season, then yes, Kenny can go fcuk himself. He's supposed to be bringing the team forward, not hoping that a player who was good three years ago can pull one out of the bag. Enough of the sentiment Kenny, please.

im factoring in the fact that he wont leave for another club.

so basically he should be at lfc as pure back up...preferably with a bumper player

Rumour is that Kenny and Steve Clarke were there looking at Moussa Sissoko

Kenny and Clarke scouting players a sign they are staying on? Possible to come with arguments for and against but it just seems odd to have the both of them over if they are off.

I think so. Maybe there are players on their dossier and they are taking the opportunity to have a good look at them.

I'd doubt they were looking at Giroud as if he does leave he will go to a Champions league team.

Plenty of players on show there tonight.
No harm to hear about them scouting the French league as there are a few gems there

KD and SC also heavily scouted Ligue 1 last season aswell before splurging on Premier League "talent" last summer.
