UPC HD box - delay changing HD channels

Hi.As I flick through the channels on the HD box it takes about 4 to 5 seconds for a HD channel to appear. Non HD channels change instantly ( well as instantly as expected for UPC) but this delay is really annoying. Does anyone else have this problem or could I have a faulty HD box ? Regards Dak

Could be your TV. Mine takes a couple of seconds to change to 1080i when switching to a HD channel.

Using the UPC remote go to Menu - Settings - TV Settings (and make sure HDMI resolution is set to 1080i)

That might fix it

Mine's the same, have always assumed it to be the norm! Tried that fix of switching setting from Auto to 1080i but doesn't make any noticeable difference for me anyway.
