    Folks could you recommend a good place to get a curry? Whether take away or sitting down, doesn't matter.

    Faisals Indian is pretty fantastic, I love their tikka masala.

    for sit down Kashmir in high street do a fab tofu curry if you ask nicely! for take away it was always golden mountain, i would travel miles for their curry but i think they are closed down now (sigh)

    I'm always singing Cafe Goas praises on the restaruants section herer. IMO the best place in the country for an Indian. I love getting the vindaloos and hot dishes, if you are not into spicy hot stuff just say it to them, they will tweek the spices for you and make it to your spec.

    Best Tikka masala- cafe goa
    Best Chinese curry- Imperial Garden or Happy Garden
    Best Thai green or red curry- Kambo
    Best brand of home made (Added this in just for the sake of it)- Mc Donnells curry in the red tub.Good all rounder like chipper curry.
    Best non Indian/Thai/Chinese curry is probably Mac Alpines Cheekpoint.(if they still do it, I haven't been in a while)!!

    Actually now that you mention that, the cove bar on the dunmore do a cracking curry/madras, really hot now, drive the oil out though ya after a few pints....

    lol theres 4 or 5 indian restaurants in town which all do proper take away

    Cafe Goa is amazing, I now live in London and I have yet to find a place as good as Cafe Goa and i have tried a lot of places. I miss it loads.
