Approximate cost timing belt VW Golf 1.4

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone could give a 'ball park' figure on how much it might cost to replace the timing belt on a 1.4 Golf (2001). A friend is looking to buy one and would like to get the TB done for peace of mind and just asked me roughly how much she could expect to pay to have this done. Thanks.

€400 with a VW dealer.
