Galaxy S2 Ringtone Problem

    Quick question guys....

    I just upgraded my Galaxy S2 to the new android version 4.0.3 today via Kies.

    Prior to my upgrading it I had different ringtones set to individual contacts. Now after the upgrade these contacts have "lost" the ringtones.

    For example, when I go into a contact it shows the ringtone I assigned/want but when that contact rings me it uses the default tone.

    Have been looking at this for ages now and getting confused - anyone have any ideas why it's not behaving itself????

    Did you have another app, like zedge also installed? You may need to open that up and re-agree to the T&Cs

    Yeah I had Zedge on there but I uninstalled it and re-installed it again but it's still doing the same thing.

    The other thing I noticed was that I had photos attached to contacts and they no longer show either when that contact rings. :confused:

    Did you save your contact details to your phone or to Google?
    If you go to your Gmail contacts do the pictures show up?
    Might have cleared the tones/pics.

    Hi,
    I didn't sync the contacts to google I went into google to check that but everything is empty in there - all contacts were saved to the phone (and SIM card).

    I have gone into both the phone and SIM and attached the ringtones & photos to each contact hoping that it was the phone getting confused and defaulting to the default ringtone. Still the same :( I know it's not a major issue just frustrating lol I bet it'll be something so obvious:rolleyes:
