Where is Kilroy these days?

    Haven't seen a "Kilroy was here" in years. Is it still around? used to be everywhere in Dublin in the 1980s. Or should this be in Oulwans and Oulfellas?

    All through the 1980s in Dublin and probably throughout Ireland there was graffiti "Kilroy was here". You'd see it written everywhere. I thought it was local but then you'd see it in London and then all over Europe - I even once saw it scrawled on the Acropolis and used to think it was some drunk Irish student what done it. But it seems it was global! Like viral even - though we didn't know what viral was then.

    Any way where has it gone? Surely there's a wall somewhere with Kilroy was here.
