Why test one as FAT32 and another as NTFS and compare them as like for like. Makes no sense at all.

I was thinking the same.

I already have a 16 GB USB flash drive, so 32 GB isn't as enticing for me; maybe if someone found a bargain for a 64 GB drive...?

Write speed is God awful on that 64gb one.

Imagine trying to fill it at "up to 5mb/sec"!

Tis a bit vague.

Haven't done German for a while, but I think it says the write speed is 10mb/sec for the first 20mb transferred. So God only knows what that drops to after that.

I suppose for 64gb of portable storage, it's a good price. But if you're looking to fill in one go, you'd want to leave yourself a good few hours!

Its a site where people download their benchmark, run it, and then upload the results to the database.

So the figures are just coming from whatever people send in. It wasnt like they deliberately pitted those two drives against each other.
