Whats going to happen when the spanish are better then us at our own game:D?

Do you think headquarters will bring in a rule banning foreign players?

Can't wait to see tipp taking on madrid or barca.

    Any thoughts?

Sure the Meath county board tried to get him in from Real Madrid to replace Banty. Had to settle for Seán Boylan in the end though

I played against Barcelona in the U-14 football Féile... it was a weird one.

They had a mixed team, the girls seemed to be netball players and just played that, while all the boys were all soccer players and they just played that. Some of them were very skilful too, one of them nutmegged our full-back and left him for dead.

We gave them some of our players, because I think they gave a walkover because they didn't really know the rules. There was potential there though.

I think the OP was thinking of this event when posting, as reported in the indo on Friday:

thats the one munchkin, wouldn't it be great to get in a holiday as well as watching a match.

It seems a few expat irish are teaching the rule to some kids over there, it would be hard to turn their heads from soccer though.
