furniture auctions in galway city

    Hi,
    Looking to pick up a few bits n bobs (tv unit, bookcase etc), wondering if anyone knows any regular furniture auctions that go on in the city (ideally east side). Also if you happen to know any large second hand furniture places.

    Dont think there are any auctions in the city.
    Try the cash factory in Liosbán or the simon shop in briarhill business park. Or there a 2nd hand office place in ballybane industrial estate, too.

    Tolco Antiques on the Headford Road sometimes run auctions. Very nice to deal with. They're just beside Barna Recycling about 4 miles out. No harm in checking out their shop as their prices are often very good.

    There is also Galway Auction Galleries in the Ranch House in Kilcolgan. I don't have a number to hand for them.

    Finally there is Not New Trading in Ballybane. Usually office stuff, but sometimes they get some good house pieces.
