Jesus that's the first time I saw it/heard it. That's absolutely disgraceful, that was a full chant not just 2 or 3 solitary voices

Spoke to someone who was in the Chelsea end and it would appear that some of the noise was Chelsea supporters trying to shush the idiots who were shouting out against the minutes silence.

It would also appear that some self policing occured after that breach of the minute's silence after some Chelsea supporters rounded on those that were responsibe.

I spoke to someone who contradicts that a little Kess.
I was told there were lots of Chelsea fans laughing about it.
It was mostly Spurs fans that booed the guilty Chelsea fans.
That was from an Arsenal fan who went along just for the game.
Being as Wembley is so big there things can be perceived differently from different parts of the ground

Police reports stated that there were scuffles/fights in the Chelsea end just before kick off which backs the self policing story.

As I said, Wembley is a big place.
The mate I spoke to has no time for Spurs yet he said he was shocked at the amount of Chelsea fans laughing at the silence being broken.

There was bound to be self policing there too. Not enough IMO from what I have heard.

No idea if there were tickets available at the ground. Was with my own little group and paid no heed to touts and what not.

The result was the be all and end all for Saturday, and we got the one we wanted. As with the League cup final a lot of our flaws were yet again obvious, and maybe a better team would have put us away on the day, but we were not up against a better team, and we go on to another final now. One where we can up our game with any luck and nring home a second cup this season.

If I am to be honest the game came second for me given the weekend that it was. The result was nice, and it was good to have that result on this weekend in a ground where the other supporters were cut from the same cloth.

The Evertonians were wonderful in defeat, and wonderful before and during the game.

Sunday was how it always is for me and for thousands of others. Memories of people now gone inspiring smiles, anger, gut wrenching sorrow, and even more fire in the belly to see out the fight to ensure that the truth of what happened that day becomes the actual perception of all in terms of what is believed to have happened.

Nobody who goes to watch a football match should not be able to return to their friends and family. The fight for them has right on it's side, and if it takes another 23 years to fight for them, then so be it.

Think they finish around mid-august but you're right he shouldn't play in them, he needs the summer off then maybe he won't have to take a winter break. :D

Funny though that, especially on here from non Liverpool supporters, there is no great outpouring of disgust or outrage at the noise during the minute's silence.

I would have thought that the same defenders of all things moral would be out calling for punishment to be handed out with the same kind of vigor that they did when all Liverpool supporters were being called racists after the Oldham game.

I guess many people only have moral "standards" when they want to troll or get a cheap dig in.

I know I'm probably going to get flamed for this but did Liverpool dish out lifetime bans for their fans part in Hillsborough. Not trying to be a dick here but for years we've been hearing about the police this, the stadium that, the government this. I don't think I've ever hear Liverpool fans actually owning up to their own fans responsibility in all of this as well. If someone can post up a link where Liverpool as a club or as a fans base have apologized for their part in it then I will condemn the chanting by any set of fans.

    Im shocked.

Saw that person's earlier post and I could not be bothered replying to it. It is either the comment of a troll or someone who is completly ignorant with regards what he is trying to talk about.

Smacks me as the kind of obvious baiting that soccer mods ignore on a regular basis.

He would be finished by the 11th of August if he plays and Uruguay get to the final. Coates might play as well.

Nail on the head Kess...but be careful now or they will start calling you an obsessive and say you're playing the victim.

Nah more likely I would get a yellow card for saying what I said, whereas a thread title called "96 was not enough" can be put up in the soccer forum and not be punished despite at least one soccer mod being online at the same the thread title was active.

    Liverpool V West Brom
    Sun 22 Apr 16:00

    Norwich V Liverpool
    Sat 28 Apr 17:30

    Liverpool V Fulham
    Tue 1 May 19:45

    Chelsea V Liverpool
    Sat 5 May 17:15

    Swansea V Liverpool
    Sun 13 May 15:00

So then, play the kids or keep the main names of the squad ticking over for the final and then give the likes of Coates, Shelvey, Robinson, Sterling and Suso a day out at Swansea?

Why is the FA Cup not the last game of the season?

I think Kenny already knows his starting XI for the final, barring injuries of course, and as such I don't think it makes a difference to him whether he playes them in every game beofre the final or not.

UEFA requested that no cup finals be played on the same day as the Champions League Final which is the 19th. England gave in but Scotland are still playing theirs on that day, plus Championship play off final in on the 19th of May also at Wembley a week early because of the Euros in the summer

It's comical when you think about it...I could say a lot on this but if I did, I'd be demodded and site banned.

Most likely mid week between cup final and Swansea?...would be nice to win the cup and cost the a European spot in the space of a week.
