2litre petrol X5?

    I rang a guy and enquired about this car http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/3159108 and seller claimed the 2 litre engine came with the car but i always though the smallest was the 3 litre engine.can anyone shed any light on this for me?I imagine its not the original engine.

    Goto BMW-driver.net . Was discussed there, apparantly an engine swap, stupid one at that.

    First gen X5 never had a 2L engine

    thanks for the help all,never even thought of looking at vehicle check websites.I-d imagine that car would be horribly underpowered.

    And not especially good on fuel as it needs to lug about the weight of an x5...

    Wiki is community edited so it can be wrong a lot don't take it as gospel. Never heard of an Irish 2.0L X5.

    Funnily enough I actually believe someone out there is dumb enough to do this conversion & think it's a "great job".
