Gallas is an absolutely piss defender. Never rated him at Arsenal, he could never [a] stay fit and deal with a strong frontman of the Drogba mould.

Not really, we were hard done by for the dubious "goal" but Chelsea were much better today.

imo ghost goal did make a lot of difference though. if bale had equalised instead of pulling it back to 1-1 the entire course of events changes. after ramires made it 3-1 spurs just gave up.

In all fairness no one would have been able to handle drogba today....when he is 100% on form he is unstoppable

Bottling operation from Spurs. They're gonna end up finishing outside the top 4 this season and accomplishing nothing. Typical Spuds.

They were Bamboozled by us in the end.

The spuds still have a nice run in though. I'd fancy them next week v QPR! Top 4 still their's to lose imo though as a toon fan I hope different

Great win for Chelsea despite the goal that never was. See you in the final Liverpool :)

I remember your antics in the soccer forum status thread, why am I even replying to you, lol.

You don't remember too well...think you're talking about someone else.:D

1 outrageous decision, completely changed the game. Spurs were the better team in the first half. All this talk of holes at the back is nonsense, Chelsea created nothing in 45 minutes apart from 1 moment of brilliance from Drogba, but the 2nd meant that Spurs had to chase the game, they were always gong to leave gaps.

Martin Atkinson better not be in contention for the final.

    So, Chelsea fans.

    What would you want more?

An FA Cup or a top 4 finish?

yet mark my words, Torres will be preferred on wednesday because a certain russian crook wants his 50 million to start on the biggest stage.

Luiz a big loss. Terry and Cahill will struggle for pace as a partnership so unless Chelsea sit very deep wednesday night Messi and co will get in behind them.

Must be hard for footballer to try and be diplomatic during his interview when the officials were so incompetent.

to be fair there was seriously scummy behaviour from a minority of the chelsea fans before the game during the minute's silence and i see only 2 of their players elected to wear armbands, spurs on the other hand were far more dignified

when a footballer on 100k a week can't even be bothered to wear an armband for 90 minutes out of respect for 96 fans who went to a game and didn't come back it really tells you how out of touch some of those morons are with the fans

oh and again the game clearly illustrates the need for video evidence

what a shocking weekend for the game, diving is rewarded, goals are given when the ball doesn't go over the line, the most expensive and popular sport in the world doesn't want to get with the times we live in, and some fans and players can't be bothered to pay their respects to those who died going to a football game

Great result today, some great goals and not so great officiating. Will be a tight game in the final, neither team exactly firing on all cylinders, but then no one has this season. Decidedly average season all round.

Despite the hammering in the end, the second goal should rightly be the issue of the day. Farcical decision.
