Arriva 120 only finding certain Satellite channels

    Hi,

I recently installed an Octo LNB on the side of the house. In the kitchen I've a Humax Foxsat box with 2 sat feeds which is working fine.

In the sitting room, I've an Ariva 120 with a sat feed and a terrestrial feed. The terrestrial feed is working fine but when I went to scan for satellite channels on Astra 2A, it was only finding certain channels like the God Channel, Sikh Channel, Ump Movies, 58 channels in total. I wasn't getting the regular channels like BBC, ITV etc...

When I plugged the Ariva 120 into the sat feed in the kitchen, it found all of the channels no problem, approx 500 (TV + Radio). Any ideas why this is happening. I thought maybe the cable in the sitting room was damaged but then surely it wouldn't have found any channels if it was.

    Thanks.

Can you move the Humax to the sitting room and see if it picks up the missing channels (they shouldn't need to be rescanned)?

How many of the 28 degrees east satellites are listed (Astra 2A, 2B, 1N & Eutelsat 28A)?

Those channels are actually on 28A (used to be Eurobird 1).

Might be easier to download a channel list, search or ask on this thread.
