    Do you know the beach boys? Thought so that why asked in the non mainstream forum... maybe some panda bear ?
    Not sure how inclined you would be to surf after listening though!

    If you want Surf Rock bands in the Dick Dale tradition (i.e: double picking, reverb heavy instrumentals) then there's two 90's surf-revival bands that I couldn't recommend enough Man or Astroman? and Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Laika and the Cosmonauts are a bit of fun too.

    If by Surf Music you mean Pixies, Miami-era Gun Club (maybe....?) sounding stuff then I have an EP by Ducktails that is pretty good, check him/them out.

    I don't know what Chillwave is, although that bald chap with glasses who reviews things on Youtube when he's not busy being a music nerd says it a lot. I fear I'm slightly out of touch.
