So after making the novice mistake of buying a gaming laptop 2 years ago i now want to build my first good rig, i have been holding out for the good 6 cores and also waiting for SSD's to drop to a reasonable level.

May get it built in the UK as i don't think i have the brains/free time atm to go about it.

    • Looking for a suitable case, don't care about looks too much moreso ventilation.
    • 2x 1TB spin drives (i use sony vegas alot)
    • 256gb SSD
    • 8-12 Gig's of ram
    • Core 6 processor
    • Undecided on motherboard
    • Suitable Powersource (Maybe coal lol)
    • Decent but not OTT graphics card that is in line with rest of the system.
    Any advice ?

Looks decent, might need a slightly beefier power supply though, where are you pricing these from ?

The items in the table are links, they'll take you to hardwareversand.de.

The PSU there should be perfectly fine for that and more.

Dozens are ordered each month from this forum, and they've all been grand. I've used them twice before and they've been a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent thanks alot, they install an english version of Windows or ?

Windows has every language by default. If I'm not mistaken, it's very easy to alter it even after installation.

Thanks for all the help guys i will update you on the final build, im thinking of beefing up the power supply and graphics card a little and possibly the processor to the tune of 1300 or so, i will post final build just before i order.

Is the integrated sound adequate nowadays? It's just that people rarely have a soundcard listed on their builds here.
