    I'd guess it's probably http://www.ainm.ie/ that you're looking for.
The linked site http://www.logainm.ie/ is great for place-names as well.

No that's not the one though it was an interesting read. The one I'm looking for has really old graphics and looks like it hasn't been updated in a while. The main background is green as well. The only reason I'm looking for this particular website is it's the only one I could ever find my surname listed.

Sorry should have specified that actually. I'm looking for a list of personal names.

I found this after a quick Google search: http://www.irishidentity.com/
    Names: http://www.irishidentity.com/names.htm
It looks like it fits your description anyway. :)

No problem! I'm always looking for new resources to add to my list anyway.

http://www.namenerds.com/irish/lists.html is very comprehensive it has different lists; native Irish names, English names translated and even a page on names that don't traditionally have an Irish form that they have tried to translate themselves.

While we are talking about Irish names, where does Peter Tremayne - author of the Sister Fidelma books - find his obscure Old Irish names?

Most of them are names that I have never heard of anywhere else.
